I had the pleasure of photographing the Cambridge Academy annual Father/Daughter Dance again this year.  You wouldn’t believe the buzz around this small school on dance day!  The parents are busy decorating and the girls are anxiously awaiting their big night out with their special “date”.  Everyone from the littlest k3 student to the oldest 8th graders are filled with excitement.

When dance time arrives I get the privilege of seeing the couples as they first walk through the door…and “oh my”- how pretty the girls are dressed!  Their smiles are big and their eyes are wide with anticipation of the fun to follow.  The night only lasts two hours (and usually ends up with someone sleeping in daddy’s arms) but this is a memory that the girls cherish forever.  I hope you enjoy some of the candids i had the pleasure of capturing from the night.
