Thanks for visiting Palmetto Posh Photography (P3 for short)! P3 offers contemporary portrait and lifestyle photography in the Upstate of South Carolina. I'm Amanda and that's me over there on the left. Aside from being a photographer, I'm also a wife, mother, cancer survivor, golf addict, volleyball coach, and I have a passion for all things pink!

 

I love what I do & take pride in being known for capturing my clients personalities, not just their images. Newborn Sneak Peek {Greenwood, SC Newborn Photography}

sometimes a newborn baby is the sweetest, sleepiest, little thing in the world…and sometimes they’re not!  it’s nearly impossible to capture “posed” newborn photos when a baby won’t sleep and refuses to cooperate with the grand plans his/her parents and i have for their session :-).  and in such cases we improvise!  when baby “h” came to see me a couple weeks ago for his newborn session he decided that the best place to be was in mom or dad’s arms.  i can’t argue with that logic so we shifted our thoughts away from a “posed” newborn session and went with a hybrid of posed and lifestyle images.  lifestyle images really are some of my favorites as they truly capture the bond between parents and child.  below are a few sneak peeks from the session.  i hope you enjoy them.

Home For The Holidays {Greenwood, SC Family Photographer}

it’s not often that our family travels during christmas but when we do it’s always fun.  this year was no different as we traveled north to visit my husband’s family in WV.  while we were there we did a quick session (in the freezing cold!) of the cousins.  we even snuck my MIL in for a few too :-).  i’m thrilled with how great these turned out and it was nice to shoot in a completely different location than what i’m used to.  enjoy these peeks at the session i captured in downtown charles town, wv.

Christmas Mini Session Sneak Peek {Greenwood, SC Holiday Photographs}

this mini session was one that melted my heart.  it reminded my that i’m not just capturing images, i’m helping to preserve memories.  during this session the adorable 5 yr old and I are filling out his chalkboard “wish list” for Santa. after he lists a couple things that he wants, he turns to his mom and says “what do you want mommy? i’ve already listed enough things, the next can be for you”.  it was such an honest and sweet gesture for him to ask his mom what she wanted from santa.  i know that moment will live in his mother’s heart forever and i was blessed to be a part of it.  in his photo you can see what mom asked for…here’s a hint; it’s not cars, a racetrack or pirate stuff 🙂  mason is such a sweet boy with a generous heart!  enjoy these sneak peeks from his and his little brother’s session.

Siblings at Star Fort {Ninety Six, SC Photographer}

these siblings contacted me about doing a session for their mom as her christmas gift.  we held the session at star fort in ninety six, sc and we couldn’t have asked for a better location for this history teacher and her outdoorsy brother.  enjoy this peek from their session 🙂

recently i had the privilege of photographing this couple as they await the arrival of their first child.  maternity sessions are always so special because they document a time in our lives that doesn’t happen very frequently (well for most people at least, lol).  enjoy this sneak peek 🙂

Happy Birthday Wyatt! {Greenwood, SC Baby Photographer}

this sweet boy is one of my baby planners and we just finished his 1 year session.  he has been a joy to photograph since the beginning and his sweet smile always brings a smile to my face.  as cute as wyatt is on the outside, he’s even more extraordinary on the inside.  wyatt was born a perfectly healthy little boy but when he was 8 months old, he was affected by a horrible disease.   he was diagnosed with transverse myelitis (TM) which is an autoimmune disease that attacks the spinal cord. TM is very rare and only affects 1 in a million people.  Currently Wyatt only has use of his upper body and is in therapy multiple times a week learning to get stronger and more mobile.   despite all he has been through, wyatt keeps on smiling and brightening the days of everyone he knows.  to follow wyatt’s progress check out his facebook page.  enjoy these sneak peeks from his recent session 🙂
