it’s time to get back on the horse!  i realized that i haven’t updated my blog in a month and i’m ready to get back on top of things!  over the next week or so i’m going to be posting some of my favorite images from 2011 sessions.  today it’s all about the babies.  newborn photography is one of my favorites.  and the great thing about these images is that they may not be what i consider my best work, but there’s something about each image that i just love.  it might be how the image captured the mood of the baby, or maybe there’s a funny story (involving an unsuspecting dad and projectile poop) that makes me laugh every time i see the image.  for some it’s the knowledge that this baby was a long time coming and others a surprise at just the right time.  these are just a few of my favorite newborn images from 2011.  i hope you enjoy them as well 🙂  oh, and happy new year!

i had the pleasure of photographing this sweet little princess a couple weeks ago.  she was an angel in the studio and slept for most of the time she visited me.  enjoy these images of her 🙂
