i love photographing newborns. they’re so snuggly and cute. this little boy was no exception. he wanted to stay awake for most of his session but every once in a while i’d catch him cat napping. enjoy the sneak peek 🙂

It’s time again to start thinking about your holiday photos! This year i’m excited to offer both indoor and outdoor scenery for you to choose from. indoor scenes will feature bright green and red decor against a solid white background. these will be a totally modern approach to a holiday photo. no cheesy holiday photos from p3! outdoor photos will be shot in a wooded area with optional holiday props. whether you choose indoors or out, you’re sure to get posh holiday photos 🙂
mini sessions will only be offered on one weekend, october 29th and 30th. these sessions will last 20 minutes and each session includes 8-10 fully edited digital images for proofing. sessions include up to 5 people but additional people can be added at a cost of $10 per person. these sessions will fill up fast so contact me soon to book your slot.
the first 3 people to book and pay for the “yuletide treasures” collection will receive a complimentary organic bloom ornament frame!

i had the pleasure of photographing the most beautiful couple today! i’ve been waiting a long time for the session with this mama-to-be and let me tell you that it was worth the wait! as i was briefly looking through what i got, this image immediately jumped out at me. i just love it. it’s one of those images that cries to be shown as a sneak peek 🙂 as i started editing i realized that there were two distinct ways i could go with this photo…and i couldn’t decide which i liked better so i’m posting them both! one image is my usual processing style…clean and simple with a bit of color and contrast pop. the other way is not my usual style but this image works so well like this that i couldn’t help but show it too. it’s a hazier, more muted processing…what some call light and airy. leave a comment below and let me know which edit you like best!

i recently finished editing a session that i did with two children about two weeks ago. these kids photographed beautifully and i still can’t get over how blue this little boys eyes are. i just had to share a couple more from the session so the rest of the world could swoon over his memorizing blue eyes. enjoy 🙂
