some days there is nothing i like more than snuggling, posing and photographing newborn babies…this was one of those days! little baby C was so sweet and lovable and i could have “played” with him all day. lucky for me, this little angel is on my baby plan so i’ll get to see him again before i know it 🙂 enjoy his sneak peek.

this past weekend i had the privilege of spending a couple days with some very talented photographers. it was great fun and i think we all learned a lot from each other. we did 5 sessions over the two day period and stayed up till the wee hours of the morning “talking shop”.

i came home exhausted but ready to edit some photos! here’s a little sampling of the newborn sessions we held.

hey ya’ll! just want to give a couple quick shout outs to some great people for their help with this gorgeous newborn shot! the very talented photographer, jasmine sargent, had a giveaway on her blog to celebrate her birthday…and i won! one of the great things i got in my prize package was this very cool wooden crate prop made by wendell wilson woodworks. wendell is not only a craftsman, but also the husband of another talented photographer, maureen wilson. so thank you to jasmine for the giveaway, wendell for the craftsmanship, and maureen for marrying a crafty man who can make fun props for us photogs 🙂

I had the pleasure of spending a morning last week at a clients home to do a family photo session. The two “little people” in the family are truly their parents pride and joy. You can see how much these kiddos are loved by just being around this family for 5 minutes. And although little miss e wasn’t all smiles for the camera, i was still able to capture some beautiful images of her. I know mom and dad can’t wait to see the photos so i thought i’d share a sneak peek with everyone this morning. happy monday!
