i can’t believe it’s sunday already! that means it’s time again for my Project 52 on the Bloom Forum. this week’s theme is “morning”. you may have noticed i have a think for sunrises and sunsets 🙂 so this week i again chose an image of a sunrise. this one shows the sun coming up over the lake i live at. seeing the sun come up over the water is one of the most beautiful things i’ve ever seen. just lovely…

This little doll came to visit me this week and she was so excited about her shoot, that she barely slept at all! But that was ok…i was able to capture some sweet shots of her anyway. I’m still editing but I had to share this picture b/c it’s one of my favs and I wanted everyone to be able to enjoy it. Miss E is just so perfect!

Sweet Baby A is less than 2 weeks old and already a perfectly behaved boy 🙂 When we did his session he was an angel. He slept like a champ and never fussed or fretted. He joins 2 older siblings so for mom and dad’s sake i hope he always stays an easy going baby. I am pleased to introduce to you…sweet baby a. enjoy!

Recently I’ve had the pleasure of being involved with several events pertaining to the medical industry. Just last weekend my good friend and I completed our chairmanship of the Self Regional Foundation’s 23rd Annual Mid-Winter Ball. This event is the premier black tie event in greenwood, sc and raises $100k for our local hospital, Self regional. Self regional is a remarkable hospital that gives small town customer service with big city advanced care. one of the many doctor’s that helps to make self regional a top ranked hospital is dr. gregory tarasidis. dr. tarasidis is an ear, nose and throat doctor who also serves as the president of the south carolina medical association (scma). just last week i had the privilege of photographing dr. tarasidis for the upcoming edition of the scma journal. i enjoyed getting a behind the scenes look at what this doctor does every day and his subtle humor kept me laughing the whole time. i’m pleased for you to meet dr. gregory tarasidis.

Since I love showing my clients personalities through my work, i have no shortage of images that show the true connection between people. But for this week I wanted to show an embrace. I love this image and the feeling of peace i get looking at this sweet little boy who is held so close in between both of his loving parents. i hope you can feel it too…

Sometimes you meet a family and you instantly love them. that happened when this beautiful family came to see me last week to document the last weeks of pregnancy with their third child. This mom to be is just stunning and she was so easy to photograph! I wanted to share a few of my favorites as they anxious await the arrival of baby #3. it won’t be long till their beautiful newborn graces my studio but until then…enjoy these sneak peeks!
