This week’s theme for my Project 52 on the Bloom Forum is “black & white”. i did a black and white project a couple weeks ago so this week i wanted to do something different. i thought about things i loved that were black and white…and the b&w thing i love most of all is our dog, tallulah belle! she’s a black and white schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle) and she came to us via airplane all the way from ohio. tallulah belle was my daughter’s sixth birthday present…but secretly, she’s my dog 🙂

i love this curly, cuddly, little animal even when she’s nappy and dirty just like she was when i took these photos. maybe next time i’ll bathe and brush her first…but until then, enjoy these photos of my extra sweet schnoodle, tallulah belle.

I had the pleasure of photographing the Cambridge Academy annual Father/Daughter Dance again this year. You wouldn’t believe the buzz around this small school on dance day! The parents are busy decorating and the girls are anxiously awaiting their big night out with their special “date”. Everyone from the littlest k3 student to the oldest 8th graders are filled with excitement.

When dance time arrives I get the privilege of seeing the couples as they first walk through the door…and “oh my”- how pretty the girls are dressed! Their smiles are big and their eyes are wide with anticipation of the fun to follow. The night only lasts two hours (and usually ends up with someone sleeping in daddy’s arms) but this is a memory that the girls cherish forever. I hope you enjoy some of the candids i had the pleasure of capturing from the night.

It’s tax time! Are you looking for an accountant? Then look no further than the women of the Greenwood office of Clark Eustace Wagner CPAs. Lois Eustace has been my accountant for many years and I can’t say enough about the friendly service and attention to detail thats she provides her clients. So when she asked if I could provide the head shots for her office I was thrilled to do it. Here’s just a sneak peek at their images. Baby B came to see me for the second photo session of his baby plan. We held this session on his 7 month bday and he sure has grown since the first time I saw him. But I can tell you this, he’s just getting cuter with age. He makes me smile every time i see him. hope he does the same for you…enjoy these sneak peeks 🙂

This week’s theme for my Project 52 on the Bloom Forum is “around the house”. if there is one thing that is always around my house…it’s laundry! dirty laundry that needs to be washed, clean laundry that needs to be put away…the laundry cycle never ends. you’d think there were 13 people living in my house instead of 3 🙂

I can’t believe this little guy is 2! This week’s theme for my Project 52 on the Bloom Forum is “Vintage”. There are lots of great photographers who process their images in a classic vintage method…and while I love to see their work, vintage processing is definitely not my style.

So this week I decided to shoot something vintage. My wedding rings were the perfect choice. These rings are my most prized possessions. Not only were they lovingly picked out by my adoring husband (with no help from me i might add), but the center stone in my engagement ring belonged to my great grandmother, Mom Bessie. Mom Bessie was given two nearly identical stones; one in an engagement ring and the second for her 25th anniversary to Daddy Sam.
