It’s often been said by my neighbors that “life doesn’t get better than this”.  I’d have to agree!  I have the pleasure of living on a golf course and the lake is just steps away.  Our neighborhood was recently purchased by the Challenge Golf Group and they have done wonderful things for us in the last 60 days.  Most recently they invited a talented musician by the name of Ryan Ballentine to come play during a neighborhood meet-n-greet…also known as “thirsty thursdays”!

I was asked to photograph the event and below are some of the images I captured.  The funny thing about these photos is that I know these people so well that I can almost hear what each of them are saying as they converse, laugh and enjoy each others company.  I hope you enjoy…

I’ve been collecting ornaments since my very first Christmas on Earth. My Grandmother started me out by giving me a very special “Granddaughter” ornament each year of my life. Since then, others like my mom and my mother-in-law have continued to grow my collection. My husband and I always get an ornament when we go on vacation and now we’ve also been giving my daughter a special ornament each year as well. I find joy every year as we unwrap the ornaments and place them on the tree. This year I decided to share a few special ornaments with you. I hope you enjoy my collection!
